nexus_7_android_marshmallowIf you have the Nexus 7 (2013), you might have learnt that despite the tablet being 2 years old, it is still being upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even better news is that last month, to be more specific the 5th of October, T-Mobile had begun pushing out the Android 6.0 update to the tablet.

Given that updates are usually rolled out in stages, this means there is a good chance you might not have received your update yet. If you haven’t, we have some bad news for you because according to a T-Mobile support document (via Android Police), it looks like the update has been temporarily halted.

According to T-Mobile, “The update roll out has been temporarily paused.  We expect the update to be available again sometime in early December.” Unfortunately it is unclear as to why the update might have been put on hold, but presumably it might have to do with some bugs that Google wants to address, and that T-Mobile would much rather just push out the next update instead of this.

In any case we’re just speculating but as you can see from T-Mobile’s message, the update is scheduled to begin rolling out again in early December so we guess you will only have to wait a couple of weeks until you get your hands on it.
