Where chocolate is concerned, you know that there are many different brands out there in the market with a plethora of flavors. The thing is, what do you do when you take the iconic KitKat chocolate bar and slather it in gold? Why, you end up with something that is very, very desirable to a whole lot of folks, that’s what. Enter this 24 karat gold KitKat bar, making it one of the more exclusive chocolate bars in the market to say the least. Specially created to usher in the coming Chinese New Year, it will feature “Phoenix Oolong” tea leaves within that hail from the Guangdong Province of China, merged with lychee and rose petals. The entire bar will be wrapped in 24 karat gold leaf (that is obviously edible), while whole rose buds and rose jelly top it.
Sounds almost too good to eat, right? I know, and these will be available on an extremely limited basis, as a mere 88 of these bars will be released from January 28 for $88 Australian dollars, and you will be able to pick it up from the Kit Kat Studio in Melbourne, Australia. The bars will be in the store itself, before being presented to you in a specially-designed red and gold box, which will come wrapped in red silk for that added touch of class.
