There’s good news today for those who have picked up a copy of LEGO Marvel’s Avengers or those that are about to. TT Games have been developing some new content for this authentic Marvel game and it has been confirmed today that LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is actually going to get free DLC exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The new content is based on the hit Marvel movie Ant-Man as well as the upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War.
The game already features content from six blockbuster Marvel movies aside from content related to the larger Marvel universe, many characters from Marvel Comics do have their place in the game.
Captain America: Civil War Character Pack for this title is going to include nine characters that are featured in the upcoming movie, that includes Captain America himself, Iron Man kitted in Mark 46 armor, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther and others. Players will be able to take all of these characters in the main game when the DLC pack arrives on January 26th.
Second free DLC for this game is the Ant-Man Character & Level Pack, it will be available later this spring and will bring a new level based on a section of the Marvel film. It includes eleven characters such as Ant-Man, The Wasp, Yellowjacket and many more.
As previously mentioned both DLC packs will be available for free to games on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. More season pass goodies are promised which will bring classic comic content as well as content from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
