lg k4LG announced two phones at CES: the LG K7 and the LG K10. However they also mentioned another device which is the LG K4, whose photo and specs were spotted on LG Russia’s website the other day. Now it seems that the phone has been made official and according to LG’s press release, the company will begin selling both the K4 and K10 around the world.

According to LG’s description of the K4, it’s pretty much in line with what we saw the other day. “The K4 is an entry-level device with best-in-class practicality, featuring a 4.5-inch display, 8GB of memory and LTE connectivity. The smartphone incorporates a sleek design that flows naturally into the bezel for a much more comfortable and secure grip. The K4 offers LG’s uniquely familiar camera UX such as Gesture Shot and Flash for Selfie inherited from its G Series, making it a standout among competitors.”

In addition, the phone will pack a quad-core chipset clocked at 1GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 1,940mAh battery with Android 5.1 Lollipop running the show. Pricing was not mentioned but given its specs, it will probably be pretty affordable. Both phones will be making their way to markets like Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia in the coming weeks. Unfortunately there was no mention of stateside availability.
