netflix-silverlight-html5So far Netflix has been pretty successful with its original programming. Most, if not all, of the company’s original content have been very well-received, like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones, just to name a few. Now if you’re more of a fan of anime than TV drama, you’re in luck.

Netflix has recently announced that they will be launching a new original anime series called Perfect Bones. The anime will be produced by Production I.G, whom some of you guys might know as the studio responsible for anime like Ghost in the Shell. The show will also be directed by Kazuto Nakazawa who helped oversee the animated sequence for Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1.

According to Erik Barmack, vice president, international originals, “In an era where the Internet knows no bounds, we are proud to deliver high quality original Anime to fans all over the world, at the exact same time, no matter where they live whether it be Japan, France, Mexico, the US, and beyond.”

Perfect Bones will be a 12-episode anime and it also marks for the first time ever, a Netflix Originals anime that will debut all its episodes simultaneously to all of the 190 countries that Netflix is currently available in.
