blackberry-priv-review_ubergizmo_15A couple of days ago it was hinted that the BlackBerry Priv could soon be made available on Verizon. It was never explicitly mentioned, but for those who are hoping that it will be true, you will be pleased to learn that it is because you will now be able to pick up the BlackBerry Priv for yourself via the carrier’s online store.

In terms of pricing, the handset can be yours at full retail price of $720. However if you’d rather not be parting with so much money upfront, the handset can also be bought and paid for in installment plans at $30 per month over the next 24 months, which more or less adds up to the same amount in the end.

However if you’d prefer going to Verizon’s store and ordering the handset in person, there is no word on when that will take place. There are reports that suggests that the handset could make its way to retail outlets on the 11th of March, which is next Friday, but we have yet to confirm that information so try not to get your hopes up just yet.

For those unfamiliar, the Priv is BlackBerry’s first attempt at an Android device. So far it has been pretty well-received, so much so that the company has confirmed that there are additional devices in the works for the future.
