LG G StyloWhen it comes to rolling out software updates, we suppose we can’t blame OEMs for focusing their efforts on their flagship devices before making their way down the list. Now LG has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its LG G4 handset, but if you don’t own the handset but instead own the company’s budget LG G Stylo, fret not as LG has not forgotten about you guys.

According to reports, it looks like T-Mobile has begun to push out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the LG G Stylo. The update is said to weigh 767MB in size, so you’ll want to make sure you’re connected to WiFi so you don’t eat into your data cap, and also ensure your phone is being charged or has sufficient battery to complete the update.

T-Mobile claims that the update will be rolled out between the 7th of March and the 21st of March, so if you don’t see the update yet, don’t worry because it should eventually make its way to your handset. Alternatively if you don’t think you can wait, then go to your phone’s Settings and System Update to see if you can manually pull the update.

The LG G Stylo was announced in early 2015 and it’s good to know that despite it being a budget handset that LG and T-Mobile have not neglected it.
