It was confirmed last year that a new Doom game is being developed. Fans of the franchise are very excited to see what developer Id Software comes up with. The game is going to be released in a couple of months but before that teasers are being sent out regularly to give us a glimpse of what’s to come. In a new trailer released online, today ID Software and Bethesda have revealed all multiplayer modes that players will have access to in the new Doom game.

Today’s trailer follows the one released last week which showcased nine multiplayer maps that will be included in the game. Each map will offer a unique experience to players and all nine multiplayer maps will be available when Doom is released in a few months.

The trailer reveals the multiplayer modes included in Doom, one of them is called Soul Harvest, it tasks players to collect souls of the players they’ve killed.

A demon rune will appear on the map where the first player is killed and the person who gets it retains the rune for the entire match. If they kill someone as the demon they drop two souls instead of one, and if a demon dies it drops five souls.

Freeze Tag mode is another, it freezes players who are killed as they don’t die instantly, they remain frozen until a friend thaws them. If that doesn’t happen soon the player will die.

Other modes detailed in the trailer include Clan Area, King of the Hill and Team Deathmatch. All modes have been explained in detail on Bethesda’s blog.
