Oppo’s upcoming flagship device, the Oppo R9, could very well come with the vaunted VOOC fast charging technology. Do bear in mind that this is different from the Super VOOC fast charging technology that was announced at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Super VOOC fast charging technology claims that it is capable of charging compatible batteries from zero to a hundred percent – at an unprecedented speed of just 15 minutes.
Having the handset’s existence being confirmed already, not to mention the 17th of March being touted as the unveiling date, it looks like the latest teaser has also brought to light the presence of VOOC fast charging on the handset. This would translate to having 2 hours of talk time by charging it up for just 5 minutes, which definitely comes in handy if you would need to make a phone call, pronto, but have not much time to lose.
Ah well, we will just have to wait until slightly after the middle of this month in order to see what else the Oppo R9 comes with, although as things stand at the moment, it will most probably be chugging along to the Snapdragon 820 chipset, carry a 6” QHD touchscreen, have either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory, a 3,700 mAh battery, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow in tow.
