android-n-developer-previewGoogle released Android N’s developer preview last month and as expected and as we have seen in previous cases, the developer preview is only available to those with Nexus devices. This is a bit unfortunate for those who do not own Nexus devices but want to get in on the developer preview fun all the same.

The good news is that Google could be having a change of heart. According to a sighting in some HTML code spotted on Android N’s preview site, it mentions that Android N’s developer preview could be brought to other Android devices in the future. It reads, “More supported devices, including devices from OEM partners.”

However that section of the HTML code was written in the comments meaning that it won’t show up on the website, at least until Google has decided that they’re ready to reveal it. This doesn’t necessarily confirm anything as Google could just as easily change their mind with regards to its release, but for now it does sound like pretty good news.

In any case what do you guys think of Google releasing Android N’s developer preview to non-Nexus handsets? Are you eager to take the software for a spin on your non-Nexus handset?
