Apple may have unveiled a new iPhone last month but what most of its fans are really interested to find out more about is the new flagship iPhones that are due this fall. Rumor has it that the iPhone 7 is going to feature dual rear cameras. There’s not a lot of clarity on the matter right now so take all rumors and reports with a grain of salt. A new report suggests that the dual cameras will actually be exclusive to the iPhone 7 Plus.

Infamous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities is of the view that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will both have a form factor that’s similar to the 4.7 inch iPhone 6, and that the dual rear cameras will only be available on the 5.5 inch iPhone 7 Plus. He even warns that first impressions of the new flagships “could underwhelm.”

This is surely going to be one of the biggest improvements that Apple makes to the photo and video capabilities of its flagship smartphone. There’s obviously no indication from the company that would confirm that dual rear cameras have made the cut so it’s going to take some time before anything concrete comes up to confirm this possibility.

Other rumors suggest that the antenna bands will be removed from the device and that the headphone jack is also going to be shown the door so that it can be replaced by a second speaker. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus aren’t expected to be unveiled before Apple’s traditional fall event for new iPhones.
