According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed games may no longer be released on an annual cycle, but the good news is that if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on some Assassin’s Creed content this year, you’ll be pleased to learn that Assassin’s Creed: Identity has been released for Android.

The game is priced at $4.99 and is currently available for download via the Google Play Store. For those who are hearing about the game for the first time, Assassin’s Creed: Identity was first announced in 2014. The game saw a soft launch in certain countries around the world, but it was only earlier this year that it was finally released for gamers around the world.

There was a catch and that is that the game was only available on iOS, but Ubisoft did promise a release for Android in the spring and we guess it’s finally here. Better late than never, we suppose. Identity is pretty much the mobile version of Assassin’s Creed and gamers can explore the different areas, customize their characters, level them up, and so on.

There will also be in-app purchases for those who are looking to get ahead. If you own an iOS device, the game is similarly priced at $4.99 and can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store.
