galaxy tab s2While companies like Microsoft have made decent headway in terms of tablets with their Surface lineup, Apple’s iPad is still pretty much the de facto device that comes to mind when people think of tablets. However if you’re not a fan of Windows or iOS, Samsung could have a new Android tablet in the works.

According to recent sightings, a certain Samsung SM-T536 has been spotted on the benchmarks. Some have speculated that this could be known as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced, but we cannot confirm that yet. However based on its specs, we are looking at a mid-ranged tablet at best which means that it should also be pretty friendly to your wallet.

Based on the benchmarks, what we are looking at is a tablet with a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800. It will be powered by an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, but the make is unknown. It will also come with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and will sport a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.

Like we said, it isn’t exactly the most spectacular when it comes to specs, but it should be good enough to get the job done. We’re not sure when Samsung will officially unveil the tablet, but with Computex taking place at the end of the month, maybe we will find out more then.
