T-Mobile has released a new software update for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge on its network. The update adds a new feature to both flagship handsets, they now have support for FM radio, meaning that users can now tune into their favorite FM radio stations using the device. It’s a minor update aside from this new FM radio feature that has been brought over to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge now.

T-Mobile had actually posted information a couple of days ago about the latest software update for Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, but it appears that the update wasn’t immediately rolled out then.

It has actually started releasing this update today which also brings improvements for the overall security of these two smartphones. Device stability improvements and bug fixes are also included.

T-Mobile has started rolling out this update over-the-air today. The 164MB download is going to be rolled out in phases like all software updates are so they won’t go live for everybody at the same time, but it shouldn’t take too long before it goes live across all regions.

It’s interesting to note that the changelog of this update doesn’t mention the bug fix for the Power and Volume keys that was mentioned in the previous update’s changelog, the carrier’s official support page for both handsets may soon be updated to clear up this discrepancy.
