Yesterday we reported that thanks to a listing on the official Destiny website and New Zealand Xbox website that the Rise of Iron expansion has been pretty much confirmed. It seems that whoever’s in charge of the expansion’s marketing materials is doing a pretty poor job because it looks like the game’s ad has gone live ahead of schedule.

If you were to watch the video above, it is a video capture of an ad that was playing on Snapchat and according to the leaked trailer, it has hinted that the expansion for Destiny will be released on the 20th of September, and that it will require a copy of the Taken King expansion in order to be played.

It also revealed that gamers who pre-order the expansion will be able to get their hands on a black version of the Iron Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. Like we said, it seems that a lot of of game’s information has leaked ahead of its official announcement which is actually set for today at 10am PDT.

Yesterday’s leak revealed that the game would only be playable on the Xbox One and PS4, unlike previous Destiny expansion releases which were released for older consoles as well, but either way we guess we will find out the official details in the next few hours.
