There are several 360-degree cameras available in today’s market. However if all of them seem a bit too big or unwieldy for your liking, then you might be interested to learn that there is an Indiegogo campaign for a camera called the Nico360 which according to its creators, could be the world’s smallest 360-degree camera.

To be fair, many 360-degree cameras aren’t hulking devices like DSLRs, but if you wanted one that is as small as a GoPro that could fit into your pocket without any issue, this could be it. The camera sports two 16MP sensors from Sony and will be able to record 2560×1440 video at 30fps. The images and videos captured can also be used to produce content for stereoscopic VR headsets.

It has a 1/4-inch mount and will also be able to accept microSD cards as storage. Users will be able to choose a variety of modes ranging from flat mode, sphere mode, planet mode, and VR mode, all of which will produce different results depending on what you are planning to capture with the camera.

It also supports live video streaming either over Bluetooth or WiFi. The Nico360 is priced at $200, although early birds who pledge their support to their Indiegogo campaign can get one for $100. If successful, its creators are looking at a possible October release for the camera. To learn more or to pledge your support, hit up its Indiegogo page for the details.
