pokemon go
Pokemon – you gotta catch ’em all – and if you’re playing Pokemon Go you know that’s easier said than done. One reddit user has managed to do it, though. Pokemon Go’s first master goes by the handle ftb_hodor and he has managed to catch the entire North American Pokedex in around two weeks. He has caught a total of 142 Pokemon nine of which are proving very hard to come by.

Throughout the course of these two weeks, ftb_hodor caught a total of 4,269 Pokemon and hatched 303 eggs. He walked 153 kilometers to complete this impressive feat over two weeks. The final Pokemon he caught was Omanyte which he evolved into Omastar.

This New York City-based Pokemon trainer has reached level 31 but don’t think he has been doing this all day long. He has managed to work over 50 hours per week despite being out and about catching all of these Pokemon. The longest trip he had to take to catch a Pokemon was to New Jersey.

He’s still missing six Pokemon from his Pokedex, Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, Ditto, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew, all of which are believed to be the most rare Pokemon in the game. There’s actually no record of them occurring anywhere in the markets where Pokemon Go is available yet.

Now that he has completed the North American Pokedex, will his quest to catch ’em all take him overseas? Only time will tell.
