star-wars-propel-drones-2Chances are if you’ve seen sci-fi movies, you’ve probably see a space battle or two. Star Wars is a movie that does come to mind when we think of spaceships dogfighting each other in, well, space. Now if you’d like to be able to participate in some epic space battles of your own, you won’t have to turn to video games to do so.

The folks at Propel RC have recently taken the wraps off four drones that have been designed to resemble iconic Star Wars spaceships. We have the 74-Z Speeder Bike, Tie Advanced X1, T-65 X-Wing Starfighter, and how could we forget the Millennium Falcon. Each model is said to be hand-painted and individually numbered and are said to be limited edition.

Each drone will be capable of traveling at speeds of up to 40 mph and will come equipped with lasers that lets you “fight” with other Star Wars drones. Propel RC is also boasting how their drones come with a new reverse propulsion system that will allow drones to hit their top speed in under 3 seconds.

We have to say that these drones look pretty damn cool but unfortunately they won’t come cheap. The Millennium Falcon is priced at £300 while the other 3 will be sold at £250 each. There will be a Collector’s Box Set that will feature all four drones, a carry case, and will be priced at the total cost of the drones with a 10% discount. Unfortunately for now the drones are only planned for a release in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa this fall, but Propel is hoping to eventually bring them stateside.
