pokemon-goSo Pokemon Go has been launched in Australia and New Zealand, which begs the question of when it will arrive to the US and other parts of the world? So far the Pokemon Company has kept mum on the specific release dates and times, and so far all we know is that gamers will have to “wait for a while”.

This is according to a tweet by The Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki who is based in Tokyo. According to Mochizuki’s tweet, it reads, “For U.S. and Japanese customers, Pokémon Co. says “please wait for a while” for formal launch of its AR game Pokémon GO.” Like we said, we’ll just have to remain patient for now.

That being said, this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen games and apps launch in Australia and New Zealand first. For some reason both these countries tend to be the first markets that apps and games are launched in. We can’t be sure why but maybe they are looking to test out the app/game first before rolling it out on a wider scale.

After all if there are issues, they only have a couple of markets to deal with, but if they rolled it out worldwide and there were problems, we reckon it would be a much bigger mess that they’d have to fix. Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled so check back with us later for the details.
