Sony confirmed earlier this year that Batman: Arkham VR will enable PlayStation VR owners to feel as if they’ve taken over as the Caped Crusader. The game has been developed by Rocksteady Studios, the same outfit that’s behind Batman: Arkham Knight, it’s a new story that’s set in the Arkham universe. A new trailer has been released today which captures reactions of the fans who were able to take it for a spin at E3 earlier this year.

Batman: Arkham VR is exclusive to the PlayStation VR. It’s a completely new story with the primary objective being to make players genuinely feel as if they’re Batman. In the game players will be able to explore the likes of the Batcave and Wayne Manor while using the Bat’s detective skills to complete objectives.

Fans at E3 2016 got to take it for a spin and the trailer shows their positive reaction to the VR experience. Many sang praises of how the immersive VR experience made them feel as if they really were Batman.

Batman: Arkham VR, winner of the first ever E3 Game Critics Award for Best VR Game, is going to be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 and requires a PlayStation VR headset to function. It’s going to be released in October this year for $19.99.
