Game Freak, developers of Pokemon Sun and Moon, today confirmed one major difference between the two titles. The games are set 12 hours apart from each other which means that events play out differently in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Nothing will happen at the exact same time in these games which will provide for an interesting experience to gamers, given the popularity of this franchise, it goes without saying that quite a lot of gamers will be picking up these titles.

A trailer has been released today which showcases this 12 hour difference between Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. The names as self-explanatory, events play out during the day in Pokemon Sun and during the night in Pokemon Moon.

Some Totem Pokemon that appear in the trials throughout the game will be different in each version. Players will also encounter different Pokemon on the route based on whether it day or night.
