For decades, the BBC’s popular Top Gear motoring show was hosted by the Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May trio. They left the BBC together after Clarkson was let go following an altercation with a producer. The trio then ended up at Amazon where they were given a new motoring show, the name of this show was confirmed late last year and it has now finally been revealed when The Grand Tour is going to be released.

The Grand Tour is an appropriate name for this show as it’s a bit different from the one they had at the BBC. Unlike Top Gear, The Grand Tour is not going to be hosted from inside a studio. The hosts will actually be on tour to some great locations across the globe and will host the show in the process.

Basically, each episode is going to be hosted from a different country from inside a giant tent, that’s how Jeremy Clarkson explained it previously. There has been a lot of anticipation for The Grand Tour as the first season of Top Gear which featured an entirely new lineup of hosts didn’t really do well with lead presenter Chris Evans departing after just one season.

A short trailer has been released for Amazon’s new motoring show which gives us a glimpse of the trio doing what they do best. It also confirms that The Grand Tour is going to be released on Amazon Prime Video on November 18th. The first season has 12 episodes which will be released every Friday starting November 18th.
