hots-halloweenWith Halloween around the corner, we told you guys that game developers are starting to get into the spirit of things and are introducing Halloween-themed updates, like we saw with Niantic’s Pokemon GO. Even Blizzard is getting into it as the developer has officially announced that they will be kicking off the Halloween event for Heroes of the Storm.

According to Blizzard’s announcement, “Hallow’s End is creeping up on the Nexus, and we’ve got an XP Bonus, a new event quest, and several new cosmetic items ready to begin haunting Heroes of the Storm next week. Get your costume on and enjoy a few treats during Hallow’s End 2016, which kicks off Tuesday, October 25, and lasts until November 8. “

The XP Bonus will see players get 50% more XP for games played excluding Training or Custom Games. There will also be new events that will give players the chance to early a new Deputy Valla portrait, plus there are also new Halloween-themed bundles that will be available for purchase which includes new skins for a bunch of heroes, such as Valla, Xul, Arthas, Falstad, and Tychus.

There will also be two new mounts such as the Eye Pad and the Headless Horseman Charger. All of this will be available until the 8th of November which is when the event ends, so you’ll want to move quickly if you want to get your hands on them.
