jet_black_iphone_7Despite Apple warning that the Jet Black iPhone 7 is more prone to scratches than the other color options and finishes, and how the regulatory labels appear to be peeling off rather easily, it still remains as one of the more popular choices right now. So much so that if you wanted one, you’d have to wait until December.

According to the shipping times for the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus, Apple’s website has listed it as shipping in 6-8 weeks. What this means is that if you’re lucky, you will get it on the 1st of December at the earliest, If you’re not so lucky, you’ll be looking at a mid-December shipping and hopefully in time for Christmas.

While demand for the device is probably to blame for the delayed shipping, last we heard even Apple’s manufacturers are having a hard time producing that particular model, so combine that with the demand and you’ve got yourself a nice backlog. That being said, this is for Apple’s online store so there’s a chance that if you really wanted one today, or sooner than 6-8 weeks, you can try Apple’s retail stores or any of their authorized third-party resellers.

Alternatively you could always choose to get a different finish if you’d rather not wait. The matte black option isn’t looking too shabby either, we reckon.
