There’s some good news for Xbox Live Gold members who might find themselves having some free time this weekend. They will be able to play The Elder Scrolls Online for free on Xbox One. We’ve often seen some of the best games go free for a weekend in a bid to bring in more players so this is nothing new. This free weekend will enable all Xbox One owners who subscribe to Xbox Live Gold to download and take The Elder Scrolls Online for a spin this weekend.

The good news is that this free weekend actually spans across the entire holiday weekend. Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play The Elder Scrolls Online free starting November 23rd until November 27th.

This means that over the holiday weekend, Xbox One owners that subscribe to Xbox Live Gold have one of the most popular games for the console available at their disposal for free. They can get a proper The Elder Scrolls Online experience before they decide whether or not they want to buy it.

As is the case with all free weekends, any and all achievements and gamerscore earned during the free weekend can be carried over once the game is purchased. Those who want to keep playing after the weekend is over will be able to purchase The Gold Edition of this game at a discount.
