Huawei is due to launch a successor to the popular P9 handset in the near future. We’ve already started seeing rumors and reports about this device and will continue to do so right up till the day Huawei officially launches this device. According to a new report, the Huawei P10 price is going to be the highest for any handset in this series. It’s believed to be the most expensive device yet in Huawei’s P series.
According to Twitter leakster @Ricciollo1 who has been right on many accounts in the past, the Huawei P10 is going to be the most expensive smartphone in this series to date. No figures have been given out as yet but it’s an interesting claim to make.
Since recent P series handsets have been flagship smartphones, they haven’t exactly been cheap. The base model P9 with 32GB of storage had a price tag of around $640 while the improved P9 Plus was priced at $800.
The tweet does point out that the Huawei P10 price will be lower than that of the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design which was unveiled recently and carries a price tag of just under $1,300. So we now have a price band between $800 – $1,300 and if this report is believed, the P10 is going to be priced somewhere in the middle. If that really is the case, the P10 is surely going to be one expensive device and it remains to be seen how it’s going to justify such a high price.
