Huawei P9 lite owners have been made to wait for a considerable amount of time and yet there’s no Android 7.0 Nougat update for their handsets. They will certainly be wishing for this to change soon but it appears that this might not be the case. According to new reports, the Huawei P9 lite Nougat update release has apparently been delayed due to several reasons.

The precise reason as to why the company has decided to delay the Nougat roll out for this device is not known at this point in time but reports suggest that the Huawei P9 lite Nougat update release may not take place before the second quarter.

The second quarter of the year isn’t that far off, though, but I’m sure that Huawei P9 lite owners would be interested in finding out whether they will have to wait out the entire quarter before they get the update towards the very end or whether the company plans on rolling it out quickly.

The Huawei P9 lite Android 7.0 Nougat update has been in beta testing for quite some time now so many believed that it wouldn’t be long before the company released it. Something might have come up during the beta test that has required the company to make some fixes and perhaps that’s why the reason has been delayed.

Huawei hasn’t officially commented on the matter so all of this can’t be said for sure right now.
