Verizon HTC 10 Nougat Update Arrives Tomorrow

It has been a while since Google released Android 7.0 Nougat but as is the case with Android updates, it’s going to be a while before the update makes its way to all compatible smartphones. Those who own carrier-locked devices know all too well that they get held up by the carrier. HTC 10 owners in the United States who own this handset on Verizon will be happy to find out today that the Nougat update for their device will be out tomorrow.

This has been confirmed in a tweet by HTC’s Vice President of Product Management @moversi who said that the technical approval has now been awarded to the update and that the over-the-air release would start on March 30th. That’s tomorrow.

HTC 10 owners on Verizon have certainly had to wait for a considerable amount of time to get their hands on this update. HTC first released it for the unlocked version of the HTC 10 in the United States back in December last year. More variants of this device have received the Android 7.0 Nougat update in various markets across the globe since then.

Those who own this handset on T-Mobile or Sprint won’t be counting down the hours because both carriers have already released Android 7.0 Nougat for the HTC 10 over the past few weeks.
