It has been over a week since Bungie confirmed that Destiny 2 is going to be coming out this year. Over the past week, the developer has released the first trailer for this game and has even confirmed when it’s going to be out. A new report suggests that the game is going to need quite a bit of free space on your system. Apparently, the Destiny 2 free space requirement is going to be at least 68GB.

FPSPOINT+ notes that the minimum space required for Destiny 2 will be 68GB and it’s quite likely that this won’t be the final size of the game given that it may receive a day one patch that will weigh several GB on its own.

Those who plan on keeping this game on their system for long will have to free up even more space given that as time goes by and more content is added to the game over the following year, the storage space required to keep it all functioning will certainly increase quite a bit.

Bungie has now made Destiny 2 available for pre-order on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Yes, this is the first Destiny title that’s making its way to the PC as well. Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 is going to be released for the aforementioned platforms on September 8th, 2017.
