Back in February, Blizzard announced a new Hearthstone expansion in the form of “Journey to Un’Goro”. The expansion was set for a release in April but no specific dates were mentioned at the time of launch, at least until now where it has been revealed that the upcoming expansion will be available to players on the 6th of April.

This means that in less than a week you will be able to access the expansion and all of the new content and cards that it will be bringing to the game. Gamers who are interested in the expansion will be able to pre-purchase 50 Journey to Un’Goro card packs right now where they are priced at $50 for the bundle.

According to Blizzard’s description, “Un’Goro Crater is a wondrous—yet dangerous—locale brimming with voracious vegetation, powerful elementals, gigantic primordial dinosaurs, and ancient mysteries waiting to be unraveled. You’ve been selected to join the expedition, and there’s still a little time left to prepare for the trip!”

Note that Blizzard will be changing things up with Hearthstone this year, and will be focusing on releasing full-sized content blocks which are basically sort of Adventures merged with Expansions. There will be three such blocks planned for a release in 2017, but players have calculated that if you were to only spend real-life money, you might end up spending more than before.
