Samsung has twice reiterated that it’s going to release a new Galaxy Note handset later this year. Whether or not it will be called the Galaxy Note 8 remains to be seen, but at least the company has confirmed that there’s going to be another one despite the failure it suffered at the hands of the Galaxy Note 7 last year. A new rumor now suggests what the Galaxy Note 8 display size might be.

The Galaxy S8+ currently has the largest display among flagship Samsung handsets at 6.2 inches. The rumor claims that the Galaxy Note 8 display size is going to be marginally larger at 6.3 inches with a tall 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

There’s no word as yet on the resolution of this display panel. A 4K display has been rumored time and again but whether or not Samsung adopts one for the Galaxy Note 8 remains to be seen.

Other features rumored for the Galaxy Note 8 include a dual rear camera system that was first expected to debut with the Galaxy S8. We even saw photos of a Galaxy S8 prototype with the dual rear camera but apparently, Samsung decided to not use it for the current flagship.

The Galaxy Note 8 remains one of the most highly anticipated Samsung devices for this year. People will be interested to see how Samsung bounces back from the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco with a new phablet so the company will surely do everything it can do maintain the lucrative revenue stream that stems from the Galaxy Note lineup.
