It has not been too long ago since HTC launched their flagship HTC U11 handset. This is the latest smartphone from the company that feels more like a 2017 flagship phone compared to the HTC U Ultra whose specs did leave us wanting. Now it seems that HTC has another phone in the works which is rumored to be the HTC U11 Life.

In a report from Android Authority, they have heard from their sources that HTC has another phone in the works called the HTC U11 Life (pictured above), which seems to be a mid-range version of the flagship HTC U11. It is expected to share some features of the HTC U11, namely its squeezable frame, but the rest of the rumored specs suggests that this won’t be a high-end device.

According to the report, the HTC U11 Life is rumored to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display and under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset can be found. It is also said to pack 32GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD, an IP67 certification, a 16MP front and rear-facing camera, and also a fingerprint sensor.

It’s not particularly exciting, but for those who wanted the squeezable frame feature but in a cheaper handset, the HTC U11 Life could be it. No word on when the phone will launch, so take it with a grain of salt for now and hopefully we’ll have the official details soon.
