To hype up the upcoming launch of Project Cars 2, Bandai Namco today announced that a new launch trailer for the title has been released online. The Project Cars 2 launch trailer illustrates how Project Cars 2 takes the baton forward from its predecessor on racing simulation. The title has a roster of more than 170 cars which Bandai Namco claims to be the largest track roster of any console racing game ever.

The aim with this title is to deliver the “Ultimate Driver Journey,” according to the publisher. Developed by Slightly Mad Studios, Project Cars 2 features the most iconic cars under thrilling conditions to provide an exciting gaming experience.

“Project CARS 2 brings together the essence of real racing in the most beautiful, authentically crafted, and technically advanced racing game on the planet,” says Bandai Namco.

Players will be able to take the roster of cars to a variety of tracks and get a thrilling experience in varying weather conditions. They will be able to test their skills across the full spectrum of motorsport racing.

Project Cars 2 is going to be released on September 22nd in the Americas on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Those who pre-order the title will receive the Japanese Cars Pack that includes four additional cars from Honda and Nissan.
