Apple has sent out a press release today to refresh the pricing and availability information for its new flagship smartphone, the iPhone X. The company is going to start taking pre-orders for this device from Friday, October 27th at 12:01 am PDT via the Apple Store app and Apple.com. It’s going to be released in more than 55 countries and territories across the globe next month.

There have been countless reports recently about the iPhone X being in short supply at launch. Apple’s suppliers are reportedly struggling with yields for the components that power the Face ID facial recognition system.

Apple hasn’t said if there will be supply shortages at launch. The company does say that its retail stores are going to have the iPhone X in stock for walk-in customers on release date, but at the same time, it encourages customers to “arrive early” if they want to get their hands on one.

The iPhone X is going to be available in space and silver gray finishes. Apple is selling 64GB and 256GB models with prices starting at $999. Members of the iPhone Upgrade Program will be able to get a head start and finish the checkout process early when pre-ordering the unit.

Apple is going to release the iPhone X on Friday, November 3rd at 8:00 am local time.
