With Forza Horizon 3, Microsoft enabled players to access their music files within the game via OneDrive cloud storage. It also integrated its Groove Music streaming service with the title. This enabled players to get a more personalized experience from the in-game radio. It won’t be possible with Forza Motorsport 7 at launch but the title will receive OneDrive music support down the road.

It was first reported earlier this year that Forza Motorsport 7 OneDrive music support will be present just like it was on Forza Horizon 3. However, the feature isn’t available at launch.

A spokesperson for the title’s developer, Turn 10 Studios, has confirmed to Windows Central that the Forza Motorsport 7 OneDrive music support is going to be released later.

“Forza Motorsport 7 will let players use their personal playlists via OneDrive. We’re excited to make this feature available at a later date. Stay tuned,” the spokesperson confirmed.

Microsoft has also confirmed plans to bring back Forzathon challenges, Auction House, and Marketplace. It appears that OneDrive music support is on the list of features that will be slowly rolled out for the title in the months to come.

The spokesperson didn’t say when the Forza Motorsport 7 OneDrive music support is going to arrive so it’s unclear how long players will have to wait before they can get their hands on this feature.
