Microsoft teased it a few days back and today the company confirmed the first Forza Horizon 3 expansion called Blizzard Mountain. Winter is coming to Forza Horizon 3. The expansion brings a Forza first – snow, ice, extreme elevations and blizzards that will put players through their paces as they try to become the King of the Mountain. Locations in this expansion are set in extreme alpine settings and players will get to explore a snowy mountain playground with eight new cars that have been designed specifically for mountain racing.
The new King of the Mountain challenge enables players to compete in a series of exciting events as they strive to achieve this title. They will get access to more than 50 new events and challenges to take part in with brand new race types such as Descent, Hill Climb, and Rivals. 28 new Xbox Live Achievements worth 500 Gamerscore points are included as well.
New vehicles featured in this expansion include the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX, the 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, classic rally cars, and more. Players can also choose snow tire upgrades for all cars in Forza Horizon 3 to prepare them for this new challenge.
The first Forza Horizon 3 expansion titled Blizzard Mountain is available as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass which costs $34.99. Standalone pricing has not yet been confirmed. Blizzard Mountain expansion is going to be released on December 13th for Xbox One and PC.
