Baldur’s Gate was an RPG developed by Black Isle Studios back in 1998. The game went on to become one of the more beloved RPGs of all time, and saw a sequel with Baldur’s Gate II, but after that the series was never continued. Then came Beamdog who then released Enhanced Editions of the game.

These Enhanced Editions are basically the game reworked with higher-resolution graphics and also some additional content, and now it looks like Beamdog could be working on yet another classic RPG in the form of Planescape: Torment. This is according to a recently discovered by Game Banshee in a mini documentary about the developer put together by Avatar Media.

While the documentary does not explicitly mention Planescape: Torment, the folks at RPG Codex (via Eurogamer) have spotted footage in the documentary that hints at Planescape: Torment-related development. This comes in the form of the screen of one of the artists in which concept art for the “Fated” (a faction in the game) was spotted.

While it is possible that Beamdog could be working on an Enhanced Edition Planescape: Torment, the name of the folder was titled, “Planescape: Unraveled”, which is clearly a Planescape game that has never been heard about before. The developer has yet to confirm anything, although last we heard they were working on a new Baldur’s Gate game.
