If the recently announced OnePlus 5T sounds like something you would be interested in getting, the phone will be available for purchase in the US come 21st of November. However if you are planning on using it with Sprint or Verizon, you will be disappointed to learn that the handset will not play nice with either carrier.

This is according to the OnePlus 5T’s carrier compatibility chart in which as you can see in the screenshot above, has marked both Sprint and Verizon as not being compatible with the phone. OnePlus notes, “Even if a device supports some or all of the required frequencies for this carrier, it will not be able to connect unless the device is approved for this network.”

It is unclear why there was no support built into the phone for Sprint or Verizon’s network, but that’s something to take into consideration if you still wish to buy it, as it means that you’ll probably have to find a different carrier for it. We’re not sure if OnePlus has plans to eventually release a model that will play nicely with Sprint or Verizon, but until then we guess potential OnePlus 5T customers will have to seek other carriers to use the phone on, like AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular, just to name a few.
