Different styles of photography present their own set of challenges. For example landscape photography might look simple, but the challenge is framing and composing the scene in an interesting way and also waiting for the right light. Studio photography also has its own set of challenges, such as choosing the right lighting, directing the model, and so on.

Now if you are interested in shooting models in studios, Superba AR has created a photography app called Augmented Reality Photo Studio that uses augmented reality (AR) to shoot virtual models in the real world. Basically photographers point their phone’s camera to wherever they want and a virtual model will be overlaid.

From there users will be able to select the model’s pose and also choose the lighting that they want to create for the shoot. What this does is that it lets photographers test out certain locations and lighting conditions before they actually bring the model there. This can save them time and money, especially if you’re just starting out and you don’t have a lot of money to spend on equipment or models.

It is an interesting app but it isn’t free. The app is priced at $10 where it will be available for iOS and Android. There are also in-app purchases where users can purchase more models if they’re looking for a variety of different body shapes and sizes and gender.
