Samsung’s Theme Store is a great resource for those who like to customize the look and feel of their handsets. There are countless free and paid themes available that Galaxy handset owners can access through the app. What if someone wants to have a case for their device that matches the theme? If a new report is believed, Samsung might soon start selling custom phone cases from the Theme Store.

The report mentions that Samsung will soon allow users to order custom phone cases based on themes and wallpapers available in its Theme Store. The company will apparently allow this for customers who own a Galaxy A, Galaxy S or Galaxy Note series device running Nougat and up. Customers who opt for cases that are based on a wallpaper will get the option to choose from three slightly modified versions of that wallpaper.

What’s unclear at this point in time is whether Samsung will design the custom cases in-house and then ship them to customers or if it’s going to delegate that task to a third-party. It’s also not clear if only select wallpapers and themes will be approved for use with custom cases. It would be a very difficult task to fulfill all orders if Samsung opens up custom cases for all wallpapers and themes.

The report also mentions that this service may only be offered to customers in South Korea initially. There’s no word on pricing as yet and whether we might see this being offered to customers outside South Korea.
