Survey Finds iPhone X Customers Are Satisfied Except With Siri

Siri was probably one of the first digital assistants to be launched on modern smartphones, but unfortunately as much as it was heralded at its unveiling, reality proved to be a much different story. Granted Apple has made improvements to Siri over time, but comparisons in the past have shown that the competition seems to be performing better.

This is why it doesn’t come as a complete surprise to learn that according to a recent survey (via Daring Fireball) of early iPhone X adopters, it was found that for the most part customers were satisfied with the phone except for Siri. The survey found that based on those who participated, the iPhone X had an overall customer satisfaction rating of 97%.

In particular the removal of the home button and Face ID had pretty high satisfaction ratings over of 90%, but like we said, Siri was where many felt it fell short where it had a satisfaction rating of about 20%. While Siri isn’t a terrible feature, it does lack certain features that the competition like Google Assistant or Alexa have.

There are rumors that Apple could be looking to overhaul Siri and recent job listings have hinted that Apple is on a hiring spree that would at the very least improve the current version of Siri. However with improvements to Siri generally made behind the scenes, we suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what these changes/improvements are.
