Capcom today confirmed that it’s going to release a Monster Hunter title for the Nintendo Switch in the summer this year. It’s going to be the first title from this franchise to be released for the console in the West. This means that Monster Hunter fans in this part of the world will finally be able to take the title for a spin on the Nintendo Switch. The title being released in this market is called Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is going to be released for the Nintendo Switch in North America on August 28th. Players will be able to team up with up to three other players through local and online multiplayer at the same time to take on the monsters.

Capcom has also confirmed that they will be able to bring over their save data from the original Monster Hunter Generations. The gameplay experience will be more or less the same on the Switch. There will be multiple quests to take part in to hunt monsters with players being able to use six different hunting styles in the battles.

The announcement trailer has been released today by Capcom to get the hype going. Fans who have been waiting for this title to arrive can now start counting down the days to August 28th.
