Many fashion brands have launched their own Wear OS (Android Wear) smartwatches and Emporio Armani is one of them. The company today announced that it’s launching upgraded models of its Connected smartwatches. The new wearable devices are powered by the Snapdragon 2100 chip that’s already found in almost every other Wear OS smartwatch.

The latest Emporio Armani Connected smartwatches have a sleek design which is similar to what we have seen from the brand before. They’re powered by Google’s Wear OS platform and are compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Aside from the 1.19″ AMOLED display, the smartwatches have the Tic Health app and will use Mobvoi’s app store in China. The “Swimproof Technology” will enable users to shower, dive, and swim with the smartwatch in up to 3 ATM.

It supports heart rate tracking and offers additional fitness tracking features alongside the GPS sensor. NFC is also onboard for Google Play Transactions. While Google Assistant will be available in all other markets, the smartwatch will get Alipay instead of Google Pay and Mobvoi Assistant instead of the Google Assistant in China.

Customers can opt for different body and strap combinations since this is a fashion smartwatch after all. The various strap options include mesh, leather, and single link bracelets. The new smartwatches have been priced in the range of $295 to $395 and will be available for pre-order today from the brand’s website.
