#IFA18 – When the Huawei P20 Pro was launched, we suppose that triple camera setup on the back was what caught everyone’s attention, but at the same time we can’t help but feel that one of the finishes offered by Huawei was also what drew many eyes to the phone, at least as far as the design was concerned.

Ahead of IFA 2018, it was reported that the company had plans to introduce new color options, and sure enough those rumors have since been proven true. These new color options include the morpho aurora that has been named after the morpho butterfly, a finish that will change color depending on the angle and the light that you are viewing it from.

There will also be a new Mother of Pearl option that also offers up some slight color-changes (if you’ve seen cars that have been painted in pearl, you know what we’re talking about), then there will also be leather options which will be offered in black or brown color options, with Huawei boasting a classic Italian hand-crafted Pamelatto finish.

Now these are just more than a new look, at least as far as the leather versions are concerned. The leather P20 Pro models will actually sport 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, an upgrade over the regular P20 Pro, and they are also expected to be priced higher at €999. All the new color options are also expected to be available starting from the 5th of September.
