Despite many rumors claiming that Apple or Samsung could be the first to the market with a smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor, it turned out that Vivo was one of the first to launch such a device. The company has since expanded on their lineup of smartphones with in-display sensors, and now it looks like we might have another model to look forward to.

It appears that over in China, Vivo has posted a landing page for the upcoming Vivo X23 smartphone. Details of the phone are scarce, but from what we can tell it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and a notch in its display, meaning that the popup camera feature we saw with the Vivo Nex will not be making an appearance in the X23.

It also appears that based on the teaser, the phone will be packing a dual camera on the back, and an edge-to-edge display, just to name a few. Unfortunately there is no mention of what kind of processor it will use, how much it will cost, and also its availability.

However from what we can tell more details are expected to be revealed on the 21st of August, so if you are interested in seeing what Vivo has to offer, check back with us then for more updates.
