Samsung often limits the color options available at launch for its flagship smartphones and it was no different for the Galaxy Note 9. The company’s latest phablet was only available in Lavender Purple and Ocean Blue at launch in the United States. Midnight Black wasn’t offered but Samsung has now confirmed that it will soon be available to customers in the country. It has also introduced a new color for the device today.

Samsung has sent out a press release to confirm that it will soon be selling the Galaxy Note 9 in Midnight Black to customers in the United States. They will also be able to buy it in a new color called Cloud Silver.

It was expected that this silver option may be offered soon after a render was leaked a few weeks back. This color is being launched in the United States first and will only be rolled out in other markets later.

The Galaxy Note 9 with 128GB and 512GB storage in Midnight Black will be available from Samsung’s retail and carrier partners starting October 12th and October 26th respectively. The Cloud Silver option for the Galaxy Note 9 will be available exclusively through Samsung’s online store and Best Buy starting October 5th.
