Have you ever Googled something before only to forget about it later and then having to search for it again? We’re sure many of us have encountered such instances before, and now it looks like Google wants to do something about it. The company has announced a new feature for its mobile search in the form of new activity cards that will help you retrace your steps.

According to Google, “Now, a new activity card will help you pick up from where you left off in Search. When you revisit a query related to a task you’ve started in the past, we’ll show you a card with relevant pages you’ve already visited and previous queries you’ve done on this topic. This helps you retrace your steps when you might not remember which sites had that useful information you’d found earlier.”

As Google points out, users have the ability to look up their search history. However its availability wasn’t always obvious as it would require users to dive into their account settings in order to retrieve the information, but now with these new activity cards, users will be able to access that information quickly.

Google has also introduced a new feature with Collections where users can keep track of content that they’ve searched before and group it into a Collection. For example you could be searching for information for an upcoming holiday, and Collections will let you save those search information into a group.
