Capcom has various titles that they are known for, such as Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter, just to name a few. Now it seems that following the success of Monster Hunter World, Capcom wants to increase the frequency of its releases which seems like great news for fans.

During its annual report to shareholders, Capcom revealed their plans to shorten the launch cycle for its major franchises, where they are aiming to launch multiple major titles each fiscal year, which basically translates to annual releases of certain Capcom franchises. Titles such as Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter were mentioned in the report, but this doesn’t mean that those that weren’t mentioned will be neglected or forgotten either.

That being said, Mega Man 11 was just released and it represents the first core Mega Man title in a few years, and based on Capcom’s plans, we’re sure some are wondering if this means that we’ll see a Mega Man title in 2019. The company is also still looking into the factors that helped Monster Hunter World such a smashing success in hopes that they’ll be able to replicate it with future titles.

In any case last we checked, 2019 is expected to see the launch of the Resident Evil 2 remake, along with Devil May Cry 5.
