Dell’s gaming notebook series Alienware has finally come out with a thin and light gaming laptop. Many of its competitors from the likes of ASUS and Razer have all slimmed down and shed serious weight, coming in under five pounds. The Alienware m15 is catching up with slimmer bezels on its 15-inch display. The company is calling the m15 its “lightest and thinnest” laptop yet.

The Alienware m15 has a 15.6 inch display and can be configured with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8300H or i7-8750H processor. There’s support for NVIDIA’s overclocked GTX 1060 GPU out of the box or the 1070 Max-Q.

The base model of this notebook ships with a 60Hz 1080p display but it would be possible to configure it with an up to 4K 60Hz display. The notebook also has support for up to 16GB of RAM and dual storage drives up to 1TB SSD/hybrid.

The Alienware m15 measures 14.3×10.8×0.83′ and weighs 4.78 lbs. The sleek design has a narrow side bezel to maximize screen space. Dell says that the bundled 60 Whr battery is good for 7.1 hours of video playback and that customers will be able to configure it with an optional 90 Whr battery as well.

Alienware’s latest gaming laptop will be available for purchase starting October 25th for $1,299.
