While we’ve seen Blizzard release various merchandise for its other franchises, it seems like Blizzard is really kicking things into high gear with Overwatch. The company has recently debuted a new Overwatch collectible which comes in the form of Mei’s LEVITATING SB-9, also known as Snowball.
According to Blizzard, “Keep cool and be the coolest with the adorable hovering Snowball! Featuring several face plates to suit any mood, and very scientific levitating abilities, Snowball is the chillest desk buddy anyone could ask for.” The collectible will actually levitate off its base but in addition to floating, it will also feature a small display that will allow the device to show off multiple expressions.
The base will also light up and it will also sport a USB charger, making it a pretty fun and cute desk accessory to have, assuming you’re a fan of Mei, of course. This is also actually not the first Mei collectible we’ve seen. Last year the folks at Good Smile Company together with Blizzard launched a Mei Nendoroid character alongside other characters from Overwatch.
In terms of pricing, the levitating Snowball does not exactly come cheap as it is priced at $175, but if you’re interested you can go ahead and pre-order it via Blizzard’s website where it is expected to begin shipping out by the 15th of December.
